Acceptance testing for product teams
Know when a ticket is really done
Yoloproof turns the examples in each ticket into tests that run in a real browser. The PM approves the tests before the work starts, the developer builds until every example passes on a real deploy, and the PM accepts with the evidence in front of them.
How it works
Every ticket moves through the same five steps. Each step says who it waits for.
-
1
Write the spec
The ticket's examples go into a file in your repository, next to the code. Each example ends with the checks that prove it.
-
2
Run it red
Each example gets a test that runs in a real browser before the work exists. A test that can't fail proves nothing.
-
3
Review the tests
The PM reads each test in plain words, with screenshots and what it is proven to catch, and approves it or asks for a change.
-
4
Build
The developer builds until a validation on a real deploy meets every example. Accepted tickets keep running, so a regression shows up.
-
5
Accept
The PM looks at the before and after evidence and review videos, then accepts or rejects with a note.
For the PM
- One inbox with everything that waits for you.
- Tests you can read without reading code, with the evidence that they can fail.
- Accept or reject on what the app really did, on the environment you choose.
For the developer
- A clear definition of done before you start, agreed with the PM.
- Validate a branch or a preview deploy in one call, and export the tests to Playwright.
- A regression in finished work lands in your queue the next morning.
Works with your Claude
Every step is an MCP tool. The PM's Claude writes and runs the tests; the developer's Claude validates the work. People decide, Claude does the typing.
Fits your tools
Specs live in your git repository. Tickets come from Linear, and merge requests in GitLab get a note with each check in plain words.
Safe on real environments
Tests open only the hosts you allow. Mark production as read-only and tests that change data don't run there. Test logins are encrypted.
